FP Journe set this case with 222 brilliant cut VS1 F/G diamonds, totaling approximately 1.56 carat. The setting is flawless, with immense shimmer under any light. This is the more recent black dial, which is a luminous disc of sapphire with lacquered numeral and Titalyt hands. In the Élégante, FP Journe refused to simply hide a quartz movement away, but instead sought to create one worth displaying proudly. This is the ultimate expression of that endeavor.
