An extremely rare red racing dial Valjoux 72 manufactured by Mathey Tissot. This is the only example we’ve ever seen, historically online or in auction catalogues. It features a dial with a staggered chronograph track and bright red indices, cream tritium, thin subdial hands reminiscent of late pre-Daytonas, and a 36mm case with a smooth bezel and angular beveled lugs. The case is sharp, with deep caseback engravings and on its original MT-signed bracelet. This is a time capsule, extremely cool ’60s chronograph that is not a replicable proposition in the market.
