A Type 1 Slim HOD Limited Edition, 1 of 20, made in collaboration with Hodinkee. This Ressence featured a skeletonized dial in anthracite designed to open up dial real estate and create visual depth. The unique Ressence orbital time display is the result of founder Benoît Mintiens design background, approaching watchmaking from first principles. The 42mm case is grade 5 titanium with no crown, instead utilizing a lever on caseback for time adjustment and winding. This is independent watchmaking with no ties to traditional horology. Its genius is not in complication, but rather how much of it can be removed in order to display time as clearly as possible.
