A ref. 885103/01 ‘Evil’ Nina Rindt, a 36mm reverse panda dial chronograph which is something of a cult classic today. The Nina Rindt is so named for international supermodel and widow to the late Formula 1 World Champion Jochen Rindt. Jochen Rindt gifted Nina her Universal Genève before he was tragically killed in a racing accident. Nina was pictured constantly in this era with her husband’s gift proudly being worn. Is is widely regarded as one of the most attractive 1960s chronograph designs ever made, with many thoughtful touches like a luminous chronograph hands, solid metal bezel, and applied logo. It is the vintage chronograph lover’s chronograph.
