A ref. 2840 Toric Tourbillon, the first Parmigiani Tourbillon, debuting in 2000, from Michel Parmigiani's eponymous independent brand started 1996. The Toric Tourbillon is an exercise in finishing and reinventing a traditional pocket watch calibre, both inverting the presentation and completely reshaping its appearance. Fitting perfectly in the Toric collection with a signature dual-stepped, knurled bezel inspired by Roman architecture, spade hands, and soldered lugs, the Tourbillon is regarded as emblematic of the very best of Parmigiani Fleurier's early efforts.
